The Drukhari Haemonculi are deranged, ancient flesh-sculptors, dark alchemists, and master torturers who form the backbone of the Haemonculus Covens in the Dark City of Commorragh. Obsessed with the extremes of pain, biological manipulation, and transcending mortality, they perform constant self-experimentation, resulting in their physically grotesque and uniquely personalized forms, often featuring hunched backs, multiple limbs, and macabre surgical implements. They are the terrifying mad scientists of the Drukhari, vital to their society as they resurrect fallen leaders and, most significantly, create the monstrous organic fighting forces—such as Wracks and Grotesques—that accompany their Coven into realspace raids, all while deriving an artist's satisfaction from the suffering they inflict and the unholy abominations they craft.
