The Spectre Squad is an elite Astra Militarum covert recon and skirmish unit formed from battle-hardened, hard-bitten veterans who survived the destruction of their previous regiments. Operating as stealthy scout-hunters, commando raiders, and demolition specialists, these operatives rely on camo cloaks, advanced fieldcraft, and terrain-reading guides to infiltrate enemy lines, set ambushes, and evade detection. Despite their light armor and stealth doctrine, Spectre Squads pack a surprisingly heavy punches—supplementing standard precision lasrifles with specialized tools like long-las snipers, autostubbers, plasma/melta gunners, missile launchers with dedicated loaders, and disruptive starshell flares to blind and disorient foes before striking.
