A Space Wolves Wolf Priest is a unique and vital figure within their Chapter, combining the roles of a Codex Astartes Chaplain and Apothecary. Clad in black armor often adorned with wolf skulls, they are both spiritual guides, roaring sagas and inspiring litanies on the battlefield, and skilled healers responsible for tending to the wounded and retrieving the gene-seed of fallen brethren. They also play a crucial role in the Chapter's recruitment, often selecting potential initiates from the brutal tribal conflicts of Fenris, earning them the moniker "Choosers of the Slain."
