Renowned as the ultimate close-quarters shock troops of the Adeptus Astartes, Assault Terminators trade long-range firepower for specialized melee armaments and the near-impenetrable protection of Tactical Dreadnought Armor. These elite veterans typically deploy via teleport strike or heavy transport directly into the most contested zones of the battlefield, acting as an unstoppable hammer blow against the enemy's heart. They are most commonly seen wielding dual lightning claws for carving through masses of infantry or the formidable thunder hammer and storm shield combination, which grants them the durability to shrug off anti-tank fire while delivering bone-crushing blows to the toughest monsters and vehicles. As the literal and metaphorical "heavy hitters" of a Chapter, they exist to break the unbreakable, serving as a relentless spearhead that turns the tide of war through sheer physical dominance and veteran expertise.
