Clad in the slab-armored hulls of Cataphractii Terminator plate, these Horus Heresy-era Space Marines function as slow, relentless siege engines built to absorb devastating punishiment. Their heavily layered shoulder Pauldrons and built-in shield generators render them virtually impervious to incoming small-arms and heavy fire, allowing them to march directly through kill zones. For mid-range firefights, they wield volkite chargers—ancient thermal weapons that fire deflagrating energy rays capable of igniting targets and incinerating flesh from the inside out. Once they close the distance, they finish the assault with power mauls, bringing down heavy disruption fields that shatter ceramite armor, collapse bone, and pulverize enemy infantry with pure, concussive blunt force.
