The Legio Custodes Venatari Sodality serves as the elite airborne vanguard of the Emperor's personal guard, specializing in rapid-strike orbital drops, recon, and absolute airspace dominance. Known colloquially as the "Hunting Eagles," these specialized Custodians are equipped with advanced, wing-like Venatari jump packs that grant them unparalleled aerial agility across vertical battlefields. On the tabletop and in Warhammer lore, they dive directly into the heart of enemy lines to shatter vulnerable flanks, utilizing a lethal combat array that typically features devastating, kinetic-firing Tarsus Bucklers paired with Kinetic Destroyers, or heavy, armor-piercing Venatari Lances.
