Within the context of the Emperor's Children Warhammer 40,000 faction, "Infractors" and "Tormentors" represent elite infantry units that embody the legion's dedication to swift and brutal combat. Infractors are geared for close-quarters dueling, wielding bolt pistols and sabres for vicious melee engagements, while Tormentors focus on ranged firepower, equipped with bolt weapons and options for heavier armaments like meltaguns and plasma guns. Both unit types are characterized by their sleek, agile forms, reflecting the Emperor's Children's emphasis on speed and precision, and they provide a deadly and versatile force on the battlefield.
