The Centaur RSV (Rapid Strike Vehicle) is a versatile, open-topped light transport recently introduced for the Astra Militarum as part of the narrative expansion leading into the new edition. Designed for high mobility on rough terrain, this chassis serves as a faster, lighter alternative to the Chimera and is particularly effective in skirmishes against Ork Speedwaaagh! threats. It features a significant transport capacity for its size, able to carry 10 Guardsmen and two characters, while its Firing Deck 12 ability allows embarked troops—including up to two Heavy Weapons Teams—to fire their weapons from the move. The vehicle can be customized with a primary weapon, such as a heavy lascannon , melta cannon , or chiron gatling cannon , and benefits from the Rapid Strike Vehicle rule, which grants it additional Objective Control based on the number of passengers inside.
