Saturnine Terminators represent some of the most formidable and technologically advanced infantry wargear deployed during the Horus Heresy. Developed in secretive tech-enclaves on a moon of Saturn, these heavily armoured suits boast exceptional durability with thick plating and powerful reactor systems capable of powering multiple heavy weapons simultaneously. While slow, their advanced targeting auspexes allow them to unleash devastating volleys of fire, often from indirect positions with weapons like the plasma bombard, or deliver crushing blows in melee with their disruption fists. Despite their immense power, Saturnine armour was notoriously difficult and costly to produce, making it a rare sight even during the Great Crusade, though Primarch Vulkan of the Salamanders Legion famously unlocked its secrets, briefly enabling wider (though still limited) deployment before the devastating civil war severely curtailed its availability.
