The Adeptus Mechanicus Hastarii Exterminator Alpha serves as the specialized squad leader for heavy-ordnance cohorts, acting as a tactical conduit between the Machine God’s will and the battlefield's destruction. Often encased in reinforced cybernetic plating to withstand the recoil of high-yield weaponry, the Alpha is distinguished by advanced sensor arrays and command vox-grilles used to designate high-priority targets for their unit. While they typically carry a refined version of the squad's primary exterminator armament—they are also equipped with specialized melee options like a power maul / sword or taser goad for close-quarters defense. In the heat of sub-sector warfare, the Alpha’s primary function is to optimize the "Optimal Purge" protocols, ensuring that every volley of fire is calculated with cold, mathematical precision to maximize the eradication of the Omnissiah's foes.
