Adeptus Custodes Warden squads are a specialized and elite unit within the ranks of the Adeptus Custodes, tasked with a sacred duty of guardianship and the execution of high-priority objectives. These warriors are distinguished by their ornate ceremonial armor and the use of the formidable castellan axe, a hybrid weapon incorporating a power axe and a bolter. Beyond their exceptional combat prowess, the Wardens also serve as spiritual exemplars and leaders within their respective Shield Companies. They are often deployed as a bulwark against the most dangerous threats to the Imperium, leveraging their superior training and equipment to stand as an unbreakable line of defense and a spearhead of retribution.
